Every October for the past several years, I have enjoyed visiting the Frieze Sculptures in Regent’s Park. Sometimes I have visited alone. Other time I have visited with my husband. I’ve even been able to share these treasures with my mum during a few of her autumn visits. Given the current state of things, I was pleased and a little surprised to hear that although the entire event was not going forward, the sculptures in Regent’s Park would be on display. There was a smaller showing than usual and the artists that I have enjoyed in the past didn’t participate. And yet, it was still a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Visiting any of the London parks during the autumn is a special treat. I love to see the trees when they are displaying an array of vivid colours. This year is no exception!
